THE VESSEL OF GRACE (PART ONE)

). This message is meant to point to the servants of the Lord as His vessels.

). Notwithstanding, we must not conclude without noting that God the Almighty Father has His original vessel He uses for everything.

). It is only the Lord that has the audacity to use His vessels.

). We have heard that God does not use the human, but uses His Christ to help the humanity.

). As we proceed we shall be guided by the Spirit of the LORD to know the truth.

ORIGINAL VESSEL OF SALVATION

). The very original Vessel of salvation that God used to salvage heaven and earth is Jesus Christ.

). This is the only biblically revealed Vessel of the Almighty God.

). Permit me to say that there were some persons God wanted to use according the Holy Scriptures, but the LORD met with stiff resistance.

). One of those persons was Moses.

). This man put up a very severe argument against the Almighty God who appeared to him in the midst of a burning bush to commission him, to go and bring out His people from Egypt.

). This is found in the Bible book of Exodus 3:1-9.

). In these first 9 verses, the LORD spoke many words to introduce Himself to Moses and explained why He appeared to him.

). From verses 10-22, he instantly put up a very strong resistance of refusal to obey the LORD.

). The LORD yet insisted that it was he that must go for the mission.

). The scenario protracted into chapter 4 of Exodus.

). From verses 1 to 9, in the continuous dilemma of Moses, he requested for signs to convince the Israelites to follow him out of Egypt.

). The LORD then began to train him with miracles to empower his courage.

). From verse 10, this man came up again against all the efforts of the LORD to convince him.

). He began to argue that he had slow tongue and speech. The LORD also began to remind him that He made the both tongues, speech and so on and so forth.

). By all we have learned so far, the LORD has taught us that human beings are not the best for Him to use to achieve His full mission of salvation on earth.

). Then in verse 12, the LORD showed the ultimate solution for divine success on earth.

). He said “Now go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you should say.

). It is even clear as the scripture already instructed that the saints should not be taught by any man, but the Anointing that we received teaches us all things 1 John 2:27.

). Going further, as Moses requested in verse 13 that the LORD should choose someone else for the mission, the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He gave him Aaron in His wrath.

). One obvious thing is that Aaron did not go through the sort of encounter Moses had with the LORD.

). Therefore, Aaron was a contingent, or an improvised person to the call of Moses hence he made a molten calf in the wilderness for Israelites to worship, even after being used by God in Egypt.

). This is another clear evidence that no man is qualified for the LORD to use, including the wisest Solomon.

). And according to 14-19, Moses conceded, left his secular occupation and returned to Egypt.

). In the process of this diagnostic study, you will discover that Christ is the only perfect Vessel the Almighty God uses in all things from the beginning to the end.

). Moses became a prophet, because he had a great encounter of discussing with the LORD almost face to face.

). The bible book of Deut 18:15-18 clearly states that Moses was a prophet, therefore the Spirit of Christ had come upon him.

). Why do we say that the Spirit of Christ had come upon him, whereas the age difference between them was about 1600 BC?

). The answer is, because before Moses was Christ was the LORD who is the God.

DIVINE INTERVENTION

God does not intrude into human affairs, but He is involved to intervene.

(Revelation 3:20; 1 Peter 5:7; John 6:25-27).

). As Christ and God, He was the Spirit that was in the prophets and speaking of the Grace that He was to bring to all men.

). Moses having become the prophet of God, automatically the Spirit of Christ came upon him, for God to use Him through Moses.

Confirmation of this is found in 1 Pet 1:9-11 which says:

). Vs.9. Receiving the end of your faith even the salvation of your soul.

). Vs.10. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searching diligently who prophesied of the Grace that should come to you.

). Vs.11. Searching what or what manner of time [the Spirit of Christ that was in them] did signify, when He testified beforehand the suffering of Christ and the glory that should follow.

). Although it is written in the Bible book of 2 Tim 2:20, saying: “In a great house there is not only gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth, some to honour and some to dishonour”.

). Having read through the above scripture, you can see that the Lord has regards for all in His house, except those deemed as dishonour.
